M-97 AK RIFLE...anygood?

Saw that Inter-ordnance and some others are advertising AK-47 ( M-97 ak rifles) for around $350.00 Does anyone have any real experience with these weapons? I have fired many AK's but never a Romanian/ U.S.A. hybrid. For the price, I was thinking about adding one to my battle rifle collection that already contains an AK ( Bulgarian) with a stupid thumb hole type stock. Any help would be apprieciated!!!

Taking into account my ongoing troubles with InterOrdnance, I'd advise against it. You would be better off spending some of that money and eliminating the thumbhole on your fine Bulgarian AK. For the price of an ugly Hesse AK receiver and parts, you would be able to have Mike Prewitt legally configure it as a normal AK and possibly even have the Galil selector conversion performed.
