m-1a scout or DSarms Lightweight carbine?

I realize this is sort of an odd comparison, but i have to ask. I Really like the feel of the 'tanker garand' sized M-1a scout rifle from springfield armoury. it ballances well in my hands and points naturally for me. i have only handled century arms FAL rifles, and i have to be blunt, it feels like the pistol grip was put on the wrong end. it is so barrel heavy that it's not even funny. This is not to say anything against the rifle, i beleive the design is the best in the world for a semi auto rifle, surpassing the kalashnikov, they just don't feel right to me. I have found through internet searches the DSA 16" barreled lightweight carbine-like fal rifle. with it's lighter barrel, it should ballance in a way i like. Magazine cost wouldn't be an issue as the lightweight fal cost's conciderably more than the M-1a, so it would ballance out. What's your opinion guys (and gals)

I've had my eye on an M1A too. That would be my choice.

Once I’ve sold enough holsters I think I’ll reward myself with one. :)

Have an older M1A "Loaded" that's a favorite. Consider SA's warranty on their guns against others. Mine has been back once for op-rod repl. on warranty, extremely quick turn-around. Not trying to talk away from the Scout but you can get one of their Loaded M1A's for ca. the same $ and get their Superb Match trigger along with the other Match upgrades.
