I don't think there are any companies making new M-1 Garands. There is a company out west, I believe their name is Mil Tech, that re-manufactures various military firearms to as new condition. They ship them in a wood crate with a couple of extras. These firearms are as good as it gets for out of production military firearms. They are also fairly expensive.
