Lyman prep center

I can't comment on the Lyman as I have the RCBS unit. I will say have a case prep center has become indispensable on my bench. I've had mine for at least 5 years with nary a complaint, just satisfaction. I think you will be very happy with whoever's unit you get. But I really like RCBS's CS better than Lymans because of other product purchased from the 2 companies.

My father has the Lyman and it is ok. The tool heads over tighten with normal use and can be a bear to change out. I would get an RCBS and not look back. I love mine.

I found the little 3 position Hornady tool on clearance and had to try it. I can see how a larger one would be handy. But it does what I need it to.

The Lyman does take up some space but it is powerful and very useful. Had one now for 3 years and it is one of my favorite tools.

I just got the Frankfort Arsenal trim, and prep. Worth every cent. It has a trimmer for bottleneck rounds that works like a pencil sharpener. And 3 tool heads for brass prep.
