My Lyman manual doesn't list a 170 gr. but it does show a 165 TMJ with a range of 4.8 to 5.4 . The 175 gr. Jacketed is 4.7 to 5.3 . The manual also stresses that case length be accurate and to not roll crimp. a modest taper crimp can be used if necessary. Case trim length is listed as .845" .
