Lyman/ Armi Chiappa Mini Sharps

I posted this on another site, but apparently no one there has any experience:

I'm sort of intrigued with the 2011 Shot Show introduction by Lyman of a Mini-Sharps in 22 Hornet (also made in 38-55).

Research shows it's apparently made by an Italian firm, Armi Chiappa. Besides .22 Hornet, Armi chambers their version in 6 other calibers. On my computer screen, at least, I think I prefer the Armi blued version vs. the Lyman bright metal.

And I see Charles Daly and Dakota make them as well.

Hmmmm....must I have one? Maybe a good quality vintage-style scope mounted?

Has anyone had experience with these?

I have no shooting experience with them, but I have handled one, they are a reduced-scale version of the Sharps 1874 (with coil springs instead of flat springs). There is a forum member on here that claims good accuracy with his. Chiappa owns the design, Lyman markets them, Charles Daly is defunct, and I suppose Dakota also just markets them but I am not sure. They come in 7 fun calibers. For the money, I'll take an 1885 instead.

There are two different guns here.
One is the original Little Sharps of Little Sandy, Montana. That was an expensive rifle, now available from Dakota at even higher prices.
The other is the Italian replica originally distributed here by Charles Daly.
Apparently Lyman is now in cahoots with Chiappa and have raised the price considerably.
