I was recently at a local store and saw some Lucas Gun oil. I am familiar with the Lucas line from the automotive side but was wondering if anyone had used or even seen this before.

Never seen the Lucas Gun Oils, but I have used their other products in automobiles. I have always like their products. If you do use it, please give us a review.

probably $9 a pint LoL

Made by Lucas? It's gotta be good!
Never used it, but i'm sure it's expensive, and not any better than conventional "gun" oil.

I use plain ol' 10w30 or 40 for my firearms. Been using engine oil to clean + lube my firearms for 20+ years now..

I wasn't being facitious when i said that Lucas is good stuff - their products are excellent!

Being a cheap-skate, i can get a quart of 10W40 for $3.49. Why bother with a lil 4oz size that can barely clean two shotguns LoL

$27.92 a quart!!!

No Thanks.
I'll stick with my qt of synthetic motor oil I bought maybe 20 years ago.
The important thing is that you lube with something you like and use it lightly.
These oil and grease posts have really been beat to death.
