Lube points on polymer frames?

Shot my Kahr P9 again last night. 100 rds, no problems.(It did have two or three malfs during first 200 rds where the slide would lock back on a loaded mag, similar to the problems of others, now working nicely) Anyhow, this is my only Tuppergun, and I'm wondering whether oil is useful/necessary between a plastic frame and metal slide. I've been putting a dribble or two on the frame, and a splotch or two on the forward metal implants, and windering if it's getting the right amount of lube in the right places. What do you think?

I have a USP tactical. I do about the same as you.. 1 small drop of oil on each of the metal "tabs" that hold the slide onto the frame.
I think that is plenty.

What does the Kahr manual say?

My USP compact manual says about the same as what you are doing. I also make sure to hit the barrel/slide interfaces.

Wolf 1415, how did you solve your previous problems of slides locking back on loaded mags?
Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
The slide issue was resolved on its own. I assume that it was a break-in problem, and have not had any more occurences in 500 plus rds. I would shoot at least 500 rds before shipping it off for repair.
