Lube needed to size?

I’m sizing for the first time and need to size some GT 45-70 bullets before powder coating. Do I have to lube the bullet to get it through the Lee sizing die? I hope not as I’d have to clean it all off before powder coating.

Lube is not need to size cast lead bullets.

I power coat then size, works fine for me.

I suppose I’m just worried about over working the powder coat... if that’s a thing. This is my first attempt at painting.
