Lower Providence Gun Club in PA

Not too far from Valley Forge PA is a small club called Lower Providence Gun Club.
I met a guy last weekend who told me that they have open shoots on Tuesday and Friday nights.
These are open to the public and only cost a few bucks, so I am told.
For your money, you get five clays at five stations (yes, 25 clays).
I am going to check this out this Friday.
Anybody here already been there?
Mike

Sorry haven't been the but the club I belong to does the same sort of thing.

Are you closer to VF or Philly ?

.

I've seen pictures of the place and met some of the people that work there but I've never gone there. They have a booth at the Fort Washington Gunshows.

9mmMike- Do me a favor and find out how much it costs to rent the range there. I think its pretty small but we could use it as a back up place for our Pennyslvania TFL members.

Hey SP,
I just got back from a little holiday. I do not know if I will get a chance to get to the LP club this week but they usually have a booth at the Ft. Washington show.
I will be going Saturday and I will be sure and ask them then.
I will post whatever they tell me.
Later,
Mike

I spoke to a Lower Providence rep yesterday and it's a nogo for renting their place. It's too small for us anyway.
He did tell me that there is another place down the road from W&W that they rent. I do not recall the name but I think that it is right on Jane's Lane.
I will try to get some more info.

OK. I think that the name of this other place is PowderBorne or something close to that.
Anyone been there? It is supposed to be very close to W&W.
Mike

I think its on the Southern side of 663. Water and Wings is on the North Side. I think its a lot smaller but we could use it for emergencies. Water and Wings is still the nicest place I have been to.

I agree. Strictly plan "B" but it is cool that it is so close and, I think, that there is a place to hand toss 'em there.
What I do know is that the guys from LP go there to do stuff that they can not do at LP, which is VERY small.
Hopefully, I'll see ya at the end of the month!
Mike
