Low pressure shotshells?

Anyone know what companies make low pressure shotshells for older shotguns? Can't seem to find any online besides the hevishot shot ones. I'm just looking for lead pheasant loads.

What kind of shotgun are we talking about here and how old? I'd imagine any 2 3/4'' load would be fine with the exception of slugs and anything bigger than #4.

Sorry, didn't see that for some reason...

I couldn't find any recently as I was looking for some. Have you talked to any local sporting goods stores?

Polywad also makes a good low-pressure load. Have you had the chamber measured to determine if you have a 2-1/2, 2-9/16, or 2-3/4" chamber? A 2-3/4" unfired hull will fit in the 2-1/2" chamber.

Is the brand a secret?
A quality shotgun from the 1930s will shoot any shell made now that fits the chamber length. No need for "low pressure" shells for a Parker.
But a cheap Parkhurst needs all the babying you can give it to keep it in action.

Parker

Parker 2 3/4. Fluid Steel.
I use RST shells in it now as well as brass shotshells loaded to less than 6K LUP.
