Few years ago I was able to shoot some "defense" ammo in a indoor range with all lights out to check for muzzle flash.
I don't remember all the ammos I tried but in 9mm Cor-Bon had lowest muzzle flash and in 45ACP it was the Federal 230gr Hydrashok. However, Hydrashok was quite a bit more brighter than 9mm Cor-Bon. Worst was the Winchester (white box) 357 magnum 110gr JHP.
Anybody else have any experience shooting "defense" ammo in the dark? Which had the most and least?
