I want to refurbish some of my older surplus pistol mags: Get the light surface rust off, smooth out a few scratches, and paint them.
I've heard there is such a thing as molybdenum disulphide impregnated paint that provides some lubrication as well as corrosion resistance. This sounds like something that might work very well in magazines. I really like the anti-friction coating in my newer Mec-Gar mags not that I (realistically) expect to duplicate that...
I thought I saw something like this by the Gun-Kote folks a while back, but can't seem to find it any more.
Anybody know where I could find such a paint?
