Hey all.
I know some will wrinkle there noses but I bought a sweet 1971 Rossi model 971 today. Its stainless steel with a 6 inch barrel and combat grips. I love the balance...weight and smooth action of it.
I was skeptically going to look at it but its very nice! I'm stoked:D. Thanks n enjoy...rod
 
Let 'em scoff! I have a newer 351 that I really love shooting. Like you said - smooth and comfortable. Let's see some pics!
 
Very nice indeed! I plan on picking up a Rossi myself.

I recently shot the 461 3" .357 Academy special and was shocked at how good the gun was. First, it has a very nice finish, very deep and old school looking. The gun was solid, well balanced, tight lockup etc..

Double action was good as as I expected it to be and the single action pull was awesome, the young folks would call it "sick"! :D It was really good for shooting targets. Accurate as heck too! ;)
 
Congrats on your new addition! Hey . . . if the revolver checks out and it feels good to you and functions well . . . forget about what others may think and just enjoy it. I have never owned a Rossi but then again, I've never really run across one when I've been looking either. If I did and I liked it, I'd get it.

Let us know how she shoots after you've had a chance to try her out. Would love to see some photos!
