Loud and clunky safety disengagement

The safety on my 700 XCR compact tactical is loud and clunky when disengaged. Is the timney or Jewell smoother and quieter when disengaging the safety?
 
New rifle? Should get smoother and quieter with usage.

You can ease it forward with two fingers instead of "flipping" it abruptly like a toggle switch if you are concerned about spooking game.
 
Yup, it's brand new. Clunky. Not happy that it came with the x-Mark trigger instead of the 40-X trigger.
 
I have a XCR and SPS they are loud safety's . I can work them slowly covering them with my hand quitely . I like my old model Ruger M77 with its tang safety its quite . My XCR is my go to gun one of my favorite firearms .
