I put a new set of adjustable sights on my 8040 Cougar and the first time I took it out to shoot, apparently the vibration caused the dot to come off. Should I take the sight off and send it back or just get a toothpick and paint it back on?

Repaint; I do it all the time for myself and buddies. Most requests come from older guys, whose eye-sight isn't what it use to be and that includes me. ... ;)

If you want to be really creative and a cheapskate at the same time, go to your local arts and crafts store and pick up a bottle of acrylic luminous paint.

Pale yellow-green sights in daytime and glow-in-the-dark night sights for a couple of bucks.
