I've been putting together a rifle from a turkish mauser action using a green mountain blank. I really wanted to put a lyman 57 rear sight and lyman 17 front. I finally got the dovetail cut in the barrel and front sight installed last night. After firing it a bunch and adjusting the rear trying to get it zeroed I noticed that the slide on the rear sight is slightly loose in the base that is screwed to the receiver causing it to wiggle around. I am frustrated! Has anyone else experienced this? I have not contacted the distributor I purchased the sight from yet nor have I contacted lyman. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
