Looks like Mexican Customs is Aiding and Abetting Illegal Aliens

Quote from article:

"In 2004, Mexican migrants in the United States sent home more than $16 billion in remittances, according to Mexico's central bank, giving the nation its second biggest source of foreign currency after oil exports."

What would happen to our economy if we suddenly stopped having a $16 billion dollar drain? If that money was spent in the economy or invested?

We gotta stop this drain on our country.

Don't buy a foreign car and that will help a little. I don't know where you might get your oil, however. Don't buy an AK, Wolf ammuntion, CZ firearms, Harris Tweed, German beer or anything from China (too many to list), and that will all help.

Anybody remember when the minutemen first set up in Arizona

The Mexican government bused the illegals to a place where they could cross without running into them

Buying products manufactured overseas but sold here is drastically different than sending virtually all your yearly income overseas in the form of cash, rather than in the form of an exchange for a good or service.

Henry, if somebody comes here, then works, and they send that pay to another country, wouldn't you say the person paying the immigrant is paying for a service? Btw, it could be sent as cash, or wired, or sent virtually any way -- but it's the same money regardless of method.

Wolfe... (Who thinks the southern border needs some serious rennovations if it's still to be called a border.)

How is the purchasing of legally imported, tariff paid products by legally employed taxpaying citizens the same as funneling money out of the country and out of the tax base with no benefit to our economy

So just because the tunnel originated on land that happened to be owned by mexican customs, that's rock solid proof THEY built it? These illegals are like cockroaches (not to dehumanize them), they will find any little break in border security and if they can't, they'll make one. Doesn't matter who owns any specific piece of land.

That being said, the Mexican government's position on our border patrol policies is an indication of some serious brain acitivity where the sun don't shine on their parts.

The trouble with Mexico is that it's run by Mexicans.

I happen to know some very good mexican people. It's kind of hard not to, living in New Mexico. So what is wrong with mexicans? You could say the same thing about any country and still not make any kind of a point.

Mexicans don't like us and the Mexican government doesn't like us but they do like, very much, the $20 billion dollars sent home by Mexicans illegally in America during 2005. Do not mislead yourself with the notion that " family values don't stop at the Rio Grande" nor with the fact that they "only come here to improve their lives".

Illegal immigration and its national economic benefits outweigh any necessity to reform Mexican government. Why reform when you can get America to pay the bills and take care of your poor?

The Mexican military has crossed into the United States 216 times in the past nine years, according to a Department of Homeland Security document and a map of incursions obtained by the Daily Bulletin.

U.S. officials claim the incursions are made to help foreign drug and human smugglers cross safely into the United States. The 2001 map, which shows 34 of the incursions, bears the seal of the president's Office of National Drug Control Policy.
