looks as strong as canned air to you?

Actually it looks stronger than the average canned air I've seen and used. The volume of air appears to be much higher and is obviously more constant over time.

At 3/4 HP it's probably a lot stronger. If you go through a couple of cans of air per year I would think it would be well worth it.

When I used to go on computer repair service calls, I used to always carry canned air. Then I found a cheap electric compressor and started using that instead. It looks a lot more professional, and after about 6 months, it paid for itself, for as much as I went through the air. They're worth the money, especially if you use a lot of canned air.

I use a paintball CO2 tank with a regulator and a standard air hose with a blow gun.

I'm wondering why the fan in that computer power supply didn't explode from being over spun.

Nah. I've done that to dozens of computer fans and never seen one fail, during or after.

That looks like a nice gadget. I normally use a full-blown air compressor but it's a little hard to carry.:D

Not a bad idea. Probably better than a compressor for electronics (and guns), because it doesn't compress the air, releasing water as condensation.

Wonder why they can't make a smaller version. It would seem a model the size of a heat gun, wire wrap gun, or drill could still provide as much air as a "compressed air" can, with less bulk.
