Looking to engrave trademarks.

Does anyone know a place that will be ale to engrave correct M16-A1 (M603) trademarks for me? On both the magwell and the side of the lower above the fire selector. I hear alot of places are hesitant to engrave trademarks for fear of copyright issues (this will have a the Colt logo on the magwell and Colt Firearms Division above the fire selector) but thought it's worth to ask.

I know some local engraving shops will do it but as far as I know they mostly do laser etching and I don't think that will really stand up to the gun being used and refinished (which I will be doing too) I want something that gets engraved right into the metal.

Colt might take exception to someone putting their trademark and logo on a non-Colt part. If I was an engraver I wouldn't do it.

I'm no laywer and won't pretend to be one by trying to cite my thoughts.... However... If I were a business owner I would not engrave any trademarked info on anything. If anyone of my employees were to do it and I find out I would fire them on the spot.

Messing around with legalities with a huge company like Colt is not something I would do. In many cases, even of you are in the right you would regret it just because of the hassle.

If it's not a Colt, it has no business having Colt trademarks on it so that it looks like a Colt. That's called trademark infringement.
