Looking to buy

I am looking to buy a Varmint rifle.

I am pretty stuck on the .22-250 but not a specific rifle.
I want a Heavy/Bull Barrel not necessarily fluted.
Ive been looking at the Sako Varminter, Cooper Varminter, and savage 12's.

Could i get some input from people that have these rifles or if there is something better. Please no input on Rem 700's, not a fan.

Welcome to TFL!!!

I had a 12FV in .308 and loved it. It was super accurate and light recoiling due to the weight. Below is my best 5-shot group at 100 yards. 0.3 MOA. The Accutrigger is IMHO the best factory trigger on the market!

I don't have any direct experience with the Sako or Cooper but have heard good things about them.

You can't go wrong with a Savage with an Accutrigger. I haven't tried the others either, but for price and accuracy, Savage is the way to go.
