Looking for value on Colt New Service

Hi.
This time I'm looking for for the value of a Colt New Service. Patent Aug 5 1884. SN 3XXX.
45 Colt. Still has some bluing. No serious wear. No pitting. Black checkered grips that say COLT in large football shaped oval, letters and the grips don't show much wear. Has a ring on the bottom for a laynard. Best of all, the grip and frame screws appear to have never seen a screwdriver. Has an old flap holster with it it is the original. It has a British Army/Boer war history. The Colt horse has one leg over the spear.

Hi, Patrick,

The commercial New Service in .45 Colt in 40% condition is listed at $500, in 100% at $1500. You can take it from there. Any papers would add some to the value, depending on the history involved. Of course if you can prove it was used by a war correspondent named Churchill....
