Looking for Suggetsions Ref my Sig P239

I have a Sig P239 .40 cal which I have had for several years. Great gun, I can;t get enough of it! A year or so ago I purchased the interchangeable .357 barrel for it. I had entertained the idea of finding the parts (frame, slide, the whole kit and kaboodle) to have a second seperate P239 (.357 of course) to carry as well but have no idea if this is even possible. Any do's, dont's, suggestions?

Frame = pistol

Buying a pistol one part at a time is expensive, compared to buying the whole thing. And, buying the frame is the same to the govenrment(s) as buying a whole pistol (you need all the approvals).

So, this sounds like an idea with no merit. Just be glad that the P-239 uses the same mags for the .357 Sig and the .40 S&W. All you need to switch is the barrel to shoot another cartridge. The P-239 is not so kind.
