The Citizen's Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (now the Second Amendment Foundation) used to have a small manual on that. It is grey and when open is the same size as a standard sheet of 8-1/2 X 11 paper.
I have a copy somewhere that is known but to God. You might write to jbarnsaf@aol.com at SAF and ask if they can make a copy from old stock or if, by some miracle, they still have some copies.
