I have been given a Belgian copy of a Smith & Wesson frontier, it is a double action from around the late 1870's or 1880's, it is deffinately an interesting piece to say the least. Thing is I need a hammer and trigger guard, plus the main spring. It was nickle plated at one time and it is chambered for the 44-40 it has 44WCF stamped on the barrel. I have tried the usual places Gunbroker, gun parts corp and old west scrounger, no luck. If anyone knows of parts or has a parts gun for cheap I would appreciate it.
