I am looking for a better mouse trap I guess. Here is the problem. I have my scope mounted on my flat top M4 with 1" high Weaver style rings and they are a little too low. I need another half inch to make it comfortable to shoot. I would also like to have back up iron sights mounted along with the scope so if I needed I could unmount the scope and use the back up sights. I am thinking that I need a one piece QD scope mount that will still leave room for a rear back up sight installed and ready to go. Any suggestions on a good one piece QD scope mount that would leave room for a back up rear sight already mounted, sighted in and ready to go if needed without breaking the bank?
