Looking for nice handgun cases.

I've been Googling handgun cases,,,
Trying to come up with function and beauty.

Plastic cases are inexpensive and functional,,,
But they just don't tickle my fine sense of aesthetics.

Wooden presentation cases are all about beauty,,,
But a bit of a pain to take to the range.

What I want is a pistol case that looks like fine old luggage,,,
The ones I did find are dedicated to certain pistols,,,
And a bit more than I want to pay for one.

I recently purchased a nickel plated model 36,,,
I want to case it with my nickel plated model 34,,,
These guns are beautiful and deserve better than plastic.

I do hit the Goodwill and other thrift stores on a regular basis,,,
I found an older cloth covered women's overnight case,,,
And on occasion have found a nice men's briefcase.

I guess I want to find something more readily attainable.

Does anyone have a link to nicer handgun cases?

Wha', a paper sack isn't good enough fer ya'?
I've always enjoyed making wooden cases for cap and ball guns.
Not exactly professional quality, more period looking.
Very satisfying, though, especially if the gun actually fits.
 
Ought to get yourself a Bullseye Shooter Case.

I normally use padded zipper cases for transporting handguns and rifles. Have some old ones I'm fond of. Will also use full flap holsters for certain guns.

His quality is very high and the prices aren't bad.

But I also wanted a case with a handle and a lock.

Modern aluminum cases like those that K_Mac linked to are great,,,
And the prices at that website weren't bad at all,,,
But they do lack a bit in beauty/aesthetics.

Now having said that,,,
I put one small case on order yesterday evening.

To just go to the range I have several nylon gun rugs,,,
They work fine to stuff several in a range bag.

But I am blessed or cursed with a desire to have pretty stuff.

I know a nice case doesn't make me a better shooter,,,
But it does make me a happier shooter. :o

And in a few years when I start to give some of my guns away,,,
It will please me greatly to present them in heirloom cases.
