Looking for new sight on lever action

Recently my Winchester 94 fell out of a gun case when the lacing broke. IT was a old case with rawhide laces and it had been raining. Anyway, the front sight got bent pretty badly and when I tried bending it back it broke. Does anyone know where I can pick up a new one? I would like to get something better than the factory sights. What about ghost ring or the Lymans tang sight? Thanks.

Peep Sight

I'll second the Williams peep sight suggestion. They will send you a catalog. You can buy it from then or usually find what you want at "Cheaper Than Dirt". Williams makes a set of front and rear for the Win 94 that has a fiber optic front. If you want that sort of thing.

Let me put a third on the Williams sights. I had one on my old 94 and loved it and I have one on my 9422 right now and will never take it off.

Great sights and very fast, just like the lever should be.

From another cowboy preacher....

You might check out Gun Parts Company, formerly Numrich Arms. They have a pile of odds and ends that fascinate me.

I just had a Lyman tang sight mounted on my Marlin and am very disappointed with it. Very flimsy construction, so cheaply made that the aperature post wobbles. I wish I had spent the extra for better quality. By the way, the best price I found on the Lyman is from MidSouth for $50.75 plus shipping. I am told that the modern Lyman is NOT a recreation of their original (as they advertise); one friend of mine said that the original WAS high quality and brings almost $100 used, IF you can find one.
