Looking for Info on Revolver

Hi, I'm new here and I'm trying to find some information about a gun I purchased yesterday at a gun show. The seller couldn't really tell me anything about unfortunately. It's a beautiful pistol and the price was right so I had to have it.

I believe it's an 1858 Remington Army made by Armi San Paolo. It's stainless with an 8 inch barrel. On the bottom of the barrel it's stamped 180 and the DGG symbol. Under the grips on the left side of the frame is another 180 stamp, on the right side of the frame it looks like it says "Nuov" and a single "X." On the side of the cylinder there's a coat of arms with a star above it and the PN with star. On the front of the cylinder it has K1870 stamped into it.

Can anyone tell me anything about this gun like when it was made? Any info would be great. Thanks!
 
Pics showing clear markings would help. The single X designates a build date of 1954. I didn't think they were making stainless repros that far back. DGG is or rather was ASP it's now Euroarms. The coat of arms and PN are Italian proof house stamps.

OK that X is in wrong place for date code. Look on the right side of the frame under the cylinder. There should be Roman numerals or two letters in a box. That's the date code. I think you can see the date code and proofs in this pic.

No there's no markings at all on the frame except what's in the pictures I posted. I was just curious how old might be. I'm still going to enjoy shooting it regardless.
 
It sure is...

...a sweet looking Remington. My limited experience with ASP is that quality is good. Nice acquisition.
