Hello Everyone,

Like the title says, I am looking for info on the following 3 guns:

Winchester Model 37-STEELBILT-20 GA - no serial # but near the end of the barrel by the break it says "2 3/4 CHAM".

Marlin Firearms Co. 22 S-L-LR Smooth Bore - Recess Choke no serial #.

410 - Ranger - 103 - 14 Made for Sears Roebuck and Co. Underneath, near the trigger guard, horizontally, is the letter "R" with the numbers 1159 underneath it. This is a double-barrel, over/under 410.

The shotgun and the 22 were my dad's guns when he was young and the 410 is my moms that she used on the shooting team in high school in Allison Park, PA.

I am just looking for any information I can about these weapons so that I have a better understanding of them. Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Not enough information on the Marlin. Don't understand "Recess Choke" explain. Also a photo would help

Although a smooth bore, does not necessarily mean is shot only "Rat Shot". Some older 22's had smooth bore and did shoot quite well using standard .22 ammo

1. Look on the top of the barrel and tell us what is written there.

2. Is there a model number on the gun?

3. Is it a semi auto, bolt or sngle shot.

RANGER

MODEL 215 AND 315
