Looking for info on a Derringer

Hi I am wondering if anyone out there can help me get some info on a Derringer that someone I know is looking to sell. I am having a Bitc# of a time finding anything.

Basically it is a Derringer in .357 O/U Blued barrel with S/S grips and pearl handles. It has engraving on the grips. On the gun itself it has 2 solid gold dead mans hands aces and eights.

Any info would be much appreciate, ie value, time era etc.

Need more info to give more info. There should be manufacturers markings on the barrels. Doesn't sound like a high end Bond or American Derringer though.

Sorry but that is all I know.... I believe I was told it had the word "Maverick" also engraved into it. Hope I am not making this up.

Found this on a different Forum.

I need a value and some opinion on this derringer. It has "A. UBERTI & C. GARDONE. V.T. ITALY" engraved between the barrels on the right side with the crossed rifle emblem and star to the rear. "INTERCONTINENTAL ARMS INC." is on the left side. "MAVERICK .45" is engraved on the top with serial number 1194. The serial number is also engraved on the frame, forward of the left grip........ More follows

The derringer I speak of is an Uberti... had to ask the guy who owned it if this was the make and he said yes... I am gonna read your link (shoulda done so before I posted this message) if this pans out to be what he was talking about I'll be pumped.

hmm hard to tell, the guy who was telling me about this guy says someone told him it is from the late 1800's which I find hard to believe seeing as though it was not created till the mid 1930's. He also was told the gun was worth around 15k, the small amount of info I have been able to find on research says that guns similar to this are from the 1970's-80's. Although I have not found this same exact gun, from what I have found in looking it up has helped enough.
