From Gatorville take 75 north to I-10. Go towards Jacksonville. Get off at Whitehouse exit. Go North to US 90. Turn left go approximately 4 miles, past International paper sawmill on left. You will turn right on a road I unfortunately right now can't remember the name of. But it is before the Spanish mission. Follow that road out approximately 5 miles, it will "S" and on the right will be WW Sporting clays. Follow the dirt roads through the plantation, it will be at the end on the right. Take some bug spray, prepare to have conversation with the old-timers who sit on the front porch and reminisce about the good ole days. Have some coffee and then head out to an enjoyable days shooting. Polish up all your stories as the people will be very receptive to you. Say hello to the Captain, and feel privelaged if he invites you to shoot with him. It is truely and honor as he is a great man and an outstanding patriot. Pet the dogs and have a good time. Email me and we can maybe set up a time to shoot it together.
Warm up with a round of skeet. Everyone does.
Truely a wonderfull place that has got "friendly" done right.

p.s. We have only one mascot, the tiger. Our battle cry is War Eagle. I will educate you.
The University of Auburn was begun as an agricultural and veterinary institute. An injured American Eagle was brought to the University. Although its life was saved, it was not able to fly ever again. The students and the town could not bare the thought of putting it in a cage, so the current aviary was built to provide a home for the Eagle. He was affectionately named "TIGER". Many legends abound about the begginings of "WAR EAGLE" but the most likely is that the vet students used to take him to pep rally's. This excited the student body who began chanting "WAR EAGLE" before football games.
Auburn is now one of the best recognized surgical and rehab facilities for endangered flying species in America. Although they are on "TIGER VII" he stands as a symbol of the power and determination of these United States.
If you think back to the opening ceremonies of the recent Olympic games, if you watched, you saw "TIGER VII" circle the Olympic Stadium while the National Anthem was playing.
again...
WAR EAGLE!
