looking for a scope or scoopes for the 2 ar'a and a few ak's i have.
what ive been looking at, for the ar's are the new nikon p223 models that are out.one is a 3x 38 i think and another that is 3-9x40.my budget is $150-$200(i think i would like to get some magnification,or is that not a big deal?)
i would be shooting the ar's and ak's at 100-200 yards.
my issue is a larger eye piece,i think for quick reference.
any advice?
i've used a cheap ncstar mark III tactical scope that is 2-7x32 and is ok,i sort of like it but, does not seem to be quick-it seem like i have to take some time to align with the smaller eye piece/eye relief.

Weaver makes a 1-3x scope that is pretty nice for this application ... and is also in your budget. The 3x does help once you get past 100 yds, and the 1x allows for both eyes to be open for pretty quick acquisition. It isn't quite as versatile as the Leupold 1.1x to 8x ... but you don't have to trade your firstborn child for it either
