I have a line on a Rossi 65 SRC in 45LC lightly used (less than 500 rounds thru), he's asking $550. It's hard to find information this gun. I know it's a Winchester 1892 knock off, but there is damn little info I have found on the net.
I know Rossi doesn't make this one anymore, instead they make a new model 92. The 65 does NOT have the newer safety on the bolt. And from my understanding should be of higher quality (but who knows).
What I'm unsure of is the price .... A new 92 is $490 at buds, and this guy is asking $550. I wasn't looking for a new lever gun, but stumbled onto this, and my interest was piqued. I do already have a 1895 Marlin in 45/70. This Rossi is in 45LC.
What do u all think? Priced right? Or too high?
