Looking for a little help

I just recently took a Springfield 1898, 30/40 KRAG in on a trade, and it's in fairly decent condition, however I'd like to replace the stock. Anyone know where I might find one? I'm finding that locating one is more difficult than I had imagined.
 
Is it a rifle or a carbine? Is it more or less original or butchered by amateur "gunsmiths" like many Krags you see? is there a cartouche on the stock? The idea is not to change a stock on a collectible arm.
 
Look on EBay. I had the same problem, and they had a bunch to choose from. I ended up with a decent cut down "carbine" length stock for about $30.

They had a number of original stocks too, but they were going for a good bit more.

They also have a ton of parts too, if youre in need of anything else.
