Looking for a light/medium jacket w/holster pocket that doesn't scream "he has a gun!

We got our first little cold snap today...only low 60's, but for Vegas, that's COLD. :) I grabbed my Columbia fleece, which is really just the fleece liner for a ski jacket, but it works so well by itself. It's got zippered breast pocket on the left side, with the zipper facing right. Actually threw my G27 in there to check the print in the mirror, and it does print. Damn.

So, I'm thinking there must be some option out there...someone has to be making a jacket with some kind of concealed carry holster built in, right? Something that doesn't scream "Shoot me first"? Something non-tactical looking.

Suggestions on where to look?

Thanks!

Thanks for the point. I checked those out. Look good, but canvas is not my thing...neither is the leather. Great suggestion though!

Any others...perhaps a fleece?

There used to be a company that made sport coats for CC but I think they are long gone. Now I think the only two left are Coronado Leather and SigTac and the only good stuff they make are in leather. Time for plan B.

London Fog trenchcoats have a crossdraw-type pocket (if you are right-handed) in just about the right place. It's a little flimsy for anything bigger than a .32 or something like that, but if you can work a needle and thread you can add an extra row or two of stitches and it will be strong enough to keep a makarov from going anywhere. Makarovs are pretty heavy for their size, so I bet it would hold something slightly bigger without a problem as well. You don't have to be a tailor to do this, just use black thread and it will look fine.

The medium-weight trenchcoat with this pocket is Cut#: K1560.

Try 5.11Tactical. Everything they make is outstanding quality. They have a denim jacket that sounds as if it just might be what you are looking for. Just search the web. I bought mine for $59. You will also need to buy the holster sold seperately for about $10 dollars.

They also run a little large. I typically wear a 2XL but had to return it for an XL. Fits great but still plenty roomy.
