Looking for a gun importer

I need to get another inherited gun from Germany to the US, but my local guy has passed away. I tried a couple other in state registered importers, but found either no interest in single gun deals or rather odd pricing ideas. Does anyone have experience with a reasonable gun importer?
 
Contact major dealers who import firearms. Even Cabela's might be an option as they import AyA and Fausti shotguns.

If it is a maker that is currently imported into the states, look up the importer and see if they will work with you

I would ask BATF - they might be able to better direct you.

You might be able to be the importer, with a local FFL as the receiver.

There is an FFL 008 requirement for importing, and there are plenty on the ATF list. I was hoping that someone had actually worked with any of them.
