looking for a concealed carry

I'm looking for a concealed carry, I am interested in the Walther P99. The only problem is I can't find one anywhere in stock.

True, there aren't many out there.

There is a 9mm on Gunbroker. There is no reserve and the current bid is $750, but there is a "Buy It Now" price of $1200. You gotta want one pretty bad to lay down that much cash!
Item# 124207647

There is a "Used, As New" 40 on Gunsamerica for $599. Its a classified so that's the price - no auction.
Item# 918874475

There is also a "Used, As New" 9mm on Gunsamerica for $675. Item# 935879014

Disclaimer: These are NOT my guns and I do not work for either Gunbroker or Gunsamerica or the companies selling those guns.

Good luck,
Scott

p99 or not worth any of the above listed prices imho i would suggest a kahr cw9,,, or a springfield xd9 or 40 sc... or the glock 26...

Remember that S&W builds that gun. There are plenty of M&P's lying around if you just have to have a DAO, but I still prefer the true DA steel or alloy guns. Compacts are virtually the same price. -7-

I've been through a few CC handguns.

May want to look at the Kahr series. Flat, simple, accurate, small, well built, nice trigger pull that is consistent every shot. I'm looking at getting a K9 myself.

Remember that S&W builds that gun.

on the contrary a P99 is german made and only imported by S&W. You're thinking of a SW99, where the frame is made by walther but the slide and barrel are made by S&W. My P99 is 100% german made. Only a small number of .40's were made by S&W and all 9mm P99's are german. SW99 slides and barrels aren't teniffer treated like the P99's.

CDNN Investments regulary advertises the P99 in their mail-catalog. And at much better prices than those in the posts above. If you don't see the P99 in the on-line catalog then call them directly. Just Google/Yahoo 'CDNN'.

CDNN doesn't seem to list the Walther P99 anymore in the catalog. Only the SW99.

But the above advice is good, since the firm will have "onezies-twozies" of various models that don't make it worthwhile to include in a catalog. Ask for Marshall. I like dealing with him but haven't in a couple of years so can't be sure he is still there.

I was wanting one strongly and at a gunshow just a few weeks ago found one (P99 AS Centimeter) with all the original box goodies except a stupid padlock. With state tax it was maybe $430 and is pristine, now that I have cleaned it. I had to concentrate to avoid breaking out in my happy-dance :D

Walther PPS

Look at the Walther PPS in either 9mm or 40SW. I have the 9mm and it is a fantastic carry pistol. It is thin, small, light, accurate, reliable and very high quality......everything you would want in a cc pistol. And it's a true 100% "Made in Germany" Walther.
