Looking for a 10mm with a great trigger!

I'm looking for a 10mm pistol that has an excellent trigger--one that has very little travel (i.e., less than 1/4") before engaging and also doesn't have a heavy pull weight (i.e., 4-5 lbs. max.).

I know that Kimber, Sig Sauer, Colt, Glock, EAA, Rock Island, and Para Ordnance make 10mms.

If anyone has a recommendation, I would be deeply appreciative.

If your going to be particular about the weight of pull and length of trigger 'take-up' I would go with a 10mm in a 1911 platform. Even my worn in gen3 glock 20 has over 5lbs of pull and more take-up than you desire.

No new pistol has an excellent trigger. Frivolous law suits have caused the manufacturers to sell their stuff with poor triggers. Regardless of the brand, they all need a trigger job.
Para Ordnance is gone. Called Para USA. Moved Stateside from here, got bought out by Remington and shut down in 2015ish.

A good friend has two Dan Wesson 1911s in 10mm and they have simply awesome triggers for production handguns.
Both are probably right at 4 lbs which is as light as you would ever want for a handgun.

Wilson Combat has a pair of their Hunter models...in stock...and ready to ship.../ ...I have no doubt they will meet or exceed your expectations.

I do not own, or want, a 10mm....but the pair of wilson's I own...are 2 of the finest guns in my safe.

I will also vote for the upper-end Tanfoglio SAA 10mm's like the Limited. In fact, I have a Tanfoglio Stock 10mm (DA/SA) and it has the best trigger in SA for a DA/SA that I've ever experienced.

Count your money and get back to us. That's going to dictate how "great" of a 10mm trigger you can get.
