I picked up some BE-86 because I happened across it one day. The first thing I loaded with it was .45 ACP. I used 6.5 grains under a 230 grain plated round nose from Xtreme with an OAL of 1.265 (I think that is correct, I'm not near my realoading stuff). This round functioned flawlessly in my HK USP and my cousins 1911. Great round, but it was a tad snappy for a target load, but nothing that would keep me from making this a regular recipe. Accuracy was great, too. I don't have a chrony, so that's all the info I have.
As always, use manuals when you load. What works for my guns may not work for yours. Stay safe, and have fun.
