Looking 4 a .22 western style revolver w/swing out cylinder

My dad has a High Standard stainless .22....9 shot...swing out cylinder. The High Standard site seems to indicate that they are outta the "cowboy business". I looked at the Ruger site.....they are 6 shot and look like that swing out "door" and ejector rod. I had one of them. Not too fun clearing each cylinder chamber like that. Does anyone know who might still make a western style revolver with swing out cylinder?

Thank you.

Bryant.

I'm not sure there haven't been others, but I don't recall any company other than High Standard producing "SAA-style" .22s with the swing-out cylinder. Your best bet is probably to try to locate a used model.

H&R used to make some. New England Firearms also had a few models. Most models were made in the 1950's to the 1970's era.

My first post :)

At my store I have a consignment that meets what your looking for.

It is HI-Standard
Model : Double Nine
9 shot .22LR
Blue
5 1/2 " BBL.
High-Standard plastic " Ivory " colored grips (with the HI-Standard logos in them)
It's a design series W-104 , serial number 1433XXX
Which makes it'sproduction date fall between 1964 and 1965 .
( 1964 production numbers start at 14204XX ,and 1965 production numbers start at 15709XX , so its closer to being made in the beggining of 1964 )

It's condition is in the 78 % - 80 % range . It shows some holster ware , it has been shot . There is a turn ring on the cylinder.

The asking price is $175.00 plus S&H to your FFL dealer.
As far as my store goes , we are a class 1 FFL dealer , and will only ship to another FFL. ( who's license we would need to recieve first , prior to shipping )
As this is our first posting of a firearm on any forum , I have yet to obtain a digital camera , but I will lay my hands on one and post pictures of this firearm if there is an intrest in it.( I would have to read , or be told how to post such pictures , since I don't have a web site or a server to host such pictures )
