look for NRA article on the Remington rifle in Vietnam

Hello everyone, I am kinda computer illeterate and am having trouble locating an article writtin in the American Rifleman magazine that described the use of the Remington 700 in Vietnam as a sniper rifle. Does anyone know how to acsess the NRA arcives or does anyone remember the year and month of this article? Thank for the help.

Recently there was a Discovery Channel special on the Rem 700's and how they discharge by taking the safety off killing anything in front of it.

This was the first time I ever heard of it happening.

Has anyone else ever experienced this or was it just another conspiracy of some kind?
