long term cz durability?

hello. just started getting into cz pistols. i only have a cz85 now. it is great in every regard. i run close to 1,000 rounds a week through the gun.

question...what kind of life span can i expect from this design?
i run my reloads at factory velocities(115gr at average 1,200fps) using full metal jacket rounds.

Hello. I don't run that many rounds per week through mine, but have been shooting the same CZs regularly with no problems whatsoever since 1984. I did put in a Wolff conventional 18lb recoil spring. Best.

Wow. 1K rounds per week? That's a lot of shooting.

I don't shoot mine that much but I've read reports of CZs with very high mileage on them. They seem to have a very good reputation for long term durability.
