Very nice! Groups similar to my PRB groups at 130 yards with my T/C Renegade, yet at over 5 times the distance! Mine is bone stock with the compromise 1:48 barrel. Despite claims that it can shoot conical bullets acceptably, mine cannot. It may help if the bore wasn’t a sewer pipe (the rifle was given to me because the bore was rough).

Those are beautiful bullets, and their accuracy is obviously not matched by very many from a smoke pole.

Do you have the stock T/C lock or have you replaced that? Mine is acceptable but the frizzen needs case hardening again I believe.

Very fine shooting, indeed! Amazing demonstration, amazing accuracy, all with a muzzleloader. I also watched your "bump test" video, and was hoping to see your loading procedure, which you showed with your "Gould" bullet. (?) I think that's what you said the bullet was. Gas check on that one? Also, do you load your paper patched bullets the same way? Without any sort of false-muzzle type aid? Do you wipe between shots? Sorry for all the questions, it's just such an amazing demo you put together using bullets in a muzzle loader. One last one; is that a 1" across the flats barrel? Again, fine shooting!

Idaholewis,

Watched your paper patching video, and saw how you loaded your pp bullets. Very cool, as you're just loading them without any type of muzzle-guiding aid. A big kudos to you on your m.l. casting, pp'ing and shooting skills, especially with those big long range bullets! Very fine.
