Looking for a range to shoot 338 Lapua? Anyone, know of a place close to the areas in the sig line.

Not exactly close to you, but Sure Shot (Can not remember the whole name...just know how to get there) in Havelock has a 500 yard range as well as skeet/clay/pistol and other stuff. I think they are open Wed thru Saturday....1:00-6:00 ish

Just opened a couple of months ago and it is an hourly ...I think 10.00 an hour with a max of 25 bucks. And geez I have seen turkeys and deer ambling around way down range....but you better not shoot them

Nice folks and as I said it is new and enjoyable. Might be worth the drive on an occassion.
 
Check out Ye Old Gun Club near Shallotte. I think they have a 600 yd range.
Ant Hill near Southport and Buccaneer in Wilmington both have rifle ranges as well.
 
Thanks folks FYI - Ant Hill and Buccaneer are closed ranges with waiting lists (waiting lists give me a break). I just heard today about Ye Old range but the person said the longest range was 400 - I hope your right on the the 600 I will head there tomorrow as it's about 3 miles from my residence, it's actually in Southport not Shallotte.
