Long Range Scope Mounts - Winchester .243

I picked up a brand new Winchester Model 70 Coyote for a rather inexpensive price and thought I would equip it to shoot some of our informal 600 yard matches that allow any sights/any rifle.

In all likelihood I will get another 6.5x20 Leupold(30mm tube) with side focus to use for this and now I am looking at different bases to decide which would be the best to use for distance shooting.

As an aside, have any of you used the Jewell trigger in the Winchester Model 70? I have one in an AR15 and it is superb. Was wondering if any of you had put one in a 70 before.

No....but I ordered one today for my Model 70 and I'll be installing it by next week, if you want to wait!
 
Try the "Search" feature. There has been a good bit of discussion about angled mounts to allow the crosshairs to be near-centered while shooting "way out there".

"Angled (scope) mounts" or "Long distance scope mounts", some such thing...
