Lockup lines on cylinder

My new (1,700 rounds since Jan.)Ruger GP141 has wear lines on the cylinder from the cylinder lockup post. Is this normal?

Yes, its normal...somewhat annoying, but perfectly normal. If you like, you can spend BIG BUCKS with one of the custom revolversmiths, and MAYBE they can eliminate it...maybe not! Really not worth worrying about, IMHO....mikey357

Drag marks from the cylinder bolt are common, and due to the designs of most modern revolvers, unavoidable.
