Loading some bullets this weekend

I needed some more bullets for the ol' 1894C and so I'm loading up some of these MiHec C358-180 RF bullets. I had wanted to lube them in TAC1 but it looks like the 358 sizer was loaded with Carnauba Red, so that'll work.

These are some of my favorites in this caliber. I do have both the large and small HP pin, if anybody noticed.

I have not tried the Penta pins with this particular bullet yet.

Those look great! I like that mold a lot. I cast a Lee tumble lube 158 semi wadcutter and shoot that out of my 1894. So far only in 38 sp. cases. Are you loading those in 357 brass? What kind of velocity? Do you hunt with it?

I am putting them in 357 brass, but I haven't chronied it. I'm just guessing that book (Lyman manual) is correct about it. Not hunting with it yet. The MP 359-640's were working really nice in that rifle, but I think these HPs will hold together better at rifle speeds. The small HP pin leaves a good bit of meat on the sidewalls of the hollow point.
