Hey guys. Mines to the forum and I have question. I have ordered the newest handbook from Hornady but I don't have it yet and I need load data for the Hornady ELD-X bullets. Can anyone help me?

I'd use the starting load data for the same or similar bullet weights listed on their website. Start low and work up. I picked up a box of the 30 cal 200 ELD-X gr bullets recently. I'm going to use data for their 208 gr bullet and work up.

Thanks guys. I've emailed Hornady only to get no response. I have the Berger manual for loading VLD bullets, which I assume would be comparable. But, I'm new enough to reloading to be wary of just trying something. Better safe than sorry I guess. I appreciate the advise!!

What caliber and bullet weight are you looking for . I have a Hornady manual . I'll give you the info you are looking for if you give me the caliber , bullet weight and powder you are using . Note that it will be data as jmr40 mentioned . Not the exact same bullet but should work fine

Berger doesn't make 200gr bullet. I would use Nosler data as 200gr ELD-X bulllet is 1.530" long and 200gr AB is 1.490" long.

I'm heading to range later today try 200gr ELD-X in one of my 30 mags. I've also got 212gr ELD-X bullets.

Thanks!

You guys are awesome. The bullets I am about to load are 175 grain ELD-X bullets in 300 win mag. But, I plan on trying several different loads so any information will probably be applicable at some time or another. Thank you all!!

Metal, I sent you a PM.

Old Roper, that sounds like a good plan too. The Noslers seem to be comparable. Thanks and let me know how they shoot for you.

Call Hornady. They will point you in the right direction for these new bullets as they just hit the market and aren't in the manuals yet.
