I have purchased some Nosler ballistic tip (Varmint) 55 grain. I have the Hornady 8th edition reloading manual which shows no load data for this particular ammo. I have Hodgdon Varget and Hodgdon H335 powder. I was hoping someone might have some load data for this ammo/powder? Thank you

Both Nosler and Hodgdon provide load data online, so I would start there before taking people's loads from the interwebs. My data is below, but I do not guarantee its success or safety in your rifle!

My best load with that bullet and varget is 23.6gr, but I've had sub .5 MOA groups up to 24.8gr.

25gr is probably one of the most popular loads for H335 and has served me well.

Go here and select 50-55 grain bullet weight from the weight tabs at the top of the load listings.

Note that manuals published by bullet makers will cover only their bullets, but have a lot of different maker's powders. Manuals published by powder makers have only their powders, but typically cover a variety of bullets. It's all a matter of which side your bread is buttered on.

I have found the Nosler load data to be accurate in terms of their "most accurate" load is a good starting point or close to it and work up to it if the most accurate load is "max". Load to their specs (OAL) and you'll be close and fine tune from there.
